To keep our internship program operating in the COVID-19 environment, Comsat Architects is employing rapid innovation to keep our 2020 interns both engaged and safe throughout the summer. Comsat Architects prides itself on its ability to create successful collaborative work environments, and we are working hard to maintain this focus while ensuring the safety of our interns and the rest of our team. To do this, Comsat Architects is creating our own internal visual design studio to facilitate our interns’ work in the office and at home.
The visual design studio houses a variety of software tools including Systems Tool Kit, SOLIDWORKS CAD Software, and Thermal Desktop. The studio contains multiple workstations and large screens conducive to visual engineering design. Comsat Architects is hosting six students from Case Western Reserve University this summer with backgrounds in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, and Computer Engineering. Our interns are working on exciting projects in the areas of CubeSat development, cognitive communications, lunar communication elements, and communication terminals.
